I am writing to bring to your attention the alarming rise in anti-social activities plaguing our town of Bagerhat. As a prominent district headquarters, Bagerhat has long been recognized for its rich heritage and community spirit. However, recent occurrences of various criminal activities such as terrorism, thefts, and robberies have significantly tarnished the peace and safety of our locality.
Bagerhat serves as a hub for numerous essential facilities including educational institutions, government offices, courts, hospitals, and more. The bustling nature of these establishments means that there is a constant flow of people throughout the day. Sadly, the atmosphere of fear and insecurity has cast a shadow over our town, especially during the night hours. Pedestrians fear for their safety as they are targeted by ruthless robbers, resulting in loss and trauma. Young girls, in particular, feel vulnerable and apprehensive about attending schools and colleges due to the looming threat of harassment by unruly elements.
Moreover, the evenings have become synonymous with drug-related activities occurring openly across the city. These gatherings not only pose a grave danger to public health but also serve as a catalyst for leading our impressionable youth down a path of destruction and despair.
In light of these distressing circumstances, I earnestly urge you to take immediate and decisive action to curb all forms of anti-social and terrorist activities rampant in Bagerhat district. Strengthening law enforcement measures, increasing patrols, and implementing stringent security protocols are vital steps that must be undertaken to restore peace and security to our community.
As concerned residents of Bagerhat district, we implore you to prioritize the safety and well-being of our citizens. By working together, we can create a living-friendly environment where every individual feels safe to live, work, and thrive.

বাগেরহাট শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান, সরকারী অফিস, আদালত, হাসপাতাল এবং আরও অনেক কিছু সহ অসংখ্য প্রয়োজনীয় সুবিধার কেন্দ্র হিসাবে কাজ করে। এই স্থাপনাগুলোর কোলাহলপূর্ণ প্রকৃতির অর্থ হলো দিনভর সেখানে মানুষের ভিড় লেগেই থাকে। দুঃখজনকভাবে, ভয় ও নিরাপত্তাহীনতার পরিবেশ আমাদের শহরের উপর ছায়া ফেলেছে, বিশেষ করে রাতের বেলায়। পথচারীরা তাদের নিরাপত্তার জন্য ভয় পায় কারণ তারা নির্দয় ডাকাতদের দ্বারা লক্ষ্যবস্তু হয়, যার ফলে ক্ষতি এবং ট্রমা হয়। অল্পবয়সী মেয়েরা, বিশেষ করে, অশান্ত উপাদানের দ্বারা হয়রানির হুমকির কারণে স্কুল ও কলেজে পড়া নিয়ে দুর্বল এবং আতঙ্কিত বোধ করে।
তাছাড়া, সন্ধ্যাগুলো নগরজুড়ে প্রকাশ্যে মাদক সংক্রান্ত কর্মকাণ্ডের সমার্থক হয়ে উঠেছে। এই সমাবেশগুলি কেবল জনস্বাস্থ্যের জন্যই মারাত্মক বিপদ ডেকে আনে না বরং আমাদের প্রভাবশালী যুবকদের ধ্বংস ও হতাশার পথে নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য একটি অনুঘটক হিসেবে কাজ করে।
এই দুরবস্থার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে বাগেরহাট জেলায় সকল প্রকার অসামাজিক ও সন্ত্রাসী কর্মকান্ড বন্ধে অবিলম্বে এবং নির্ণায়ক পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণের জন্য আমি আন্তরিকভাবে অনুরোধ করছি। আইন প্রয়োগকারী ব্যবস্থা জোরদার করা, টহল বাড়ানো, এবং কঠোর নিরাপত্তা প্রোটোকল বাস্তবায়ন করা আমাদের সম্প্রদায়ের শান্তি ও নিরাপত্তা পুনরুদ্ধারের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপগুলি গ্রহণ করা আবশ্যক।
