We live in an age of science. Changed the face of the world. So the wonders of science are visible everywhere around us. It has made our life easier, longer and more comfortable. We cannot imagine our life without science.
Science has contributed greatly to our comfort and happiness. Air conditioning can keep us cool everywhere in the world. Central heating makes it possible to keep us warm even at the poles. Labour-saving gadgets have reduced the burden of housework. Again we have movies, television. Radio, etc. for our entertainment.
The discovery of electricity changed the world overnightWe have electric lights. Fan refrigerators and all labor-saving devices in the home run on electricity, electricity enables us to use elevators and escalators that save us the trouble of going up and down stairs.
Science has removed the distance of space. It saves time. We also have excellent means of travel. Cars and buses are very common. Electric trains take us across the country at breakneck speed. Jet planes go like a flash across the sky. Fast travel like this is possible only because of the wonders of science. With the help of science we have even reached the moon. Soon we are going to visit other planets.
Science has done great magic in communication. Telephone, fax, wireless, mobile phone, internet etc. are all great wonders of science, conquering time, space and distance and bringing the world closer to us.
The invention of the computer is one of the greatest wonders of modern science. In fact, computers dominate all previous inventions that mankind has ever made possible. Using internet technology with computer has brought another revolution for people. It has made the world faster which is beyond imagination. It has turned the world into a global village.
Science has also worked wonders in the medical world. Robots, test-tube children, heart-transplantation. Dramatic contribution to science like eye pen etc. We can mention penicillin, X-ray, ECG, biopsy, ultra-sonography to name a few. Radiotherapy as a weapon of science's war against disease etc.
In fact, the wonders of science know no bounds. Without the help of science, we cannot move even a day.

যোগাযোগের ক্ষেত্রে বিজ্ঞান দারুণ জাদু করেছে। টেলিফোন, ফ্যাক্স, ওয়্যারলেস, মোবাইল ফোন, ইন্টারনেট ইত্যাদি সবই বিজ্ঞানের দুর্দান্ত বিস্ময়, সময়, স্থান এবং দূরত্ব জয় করে এবং বিশ্বকে আমাদের কাছাকাছি নিয়ে আসে।
কম্পিউটারের উদ্ভাবন আধুনিক বিজ্ঞানের সবচেয়ে বড় আশ্চর্যের একটি। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, কম্পিউটারগুলি পূর্ববর্তী সমস্ত আবিষ্কারের উপর আধিপত্য বিস্তার করে যা মানবজাতির দ্বারা সম্ভব হয়েছে। কম্পিউটারের সাথে ইন্টারনেট প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার মানুষের জন্য অন্য বিপ্লব এনেছে। এটি বিশ্বকে দ্রুততর করেছে যা কল্পনার বাইরে। এটি বিশ্বকে একটি গ্লোবাল ভিলেজে পরিণত করেছে।
চিকিৎসা জগতেও বিজ্ঞান বিস্ময়কর কাজ করেছে। রোবট, টেস্টটিউব শিশু, হার্ট-ট্রান্সপ্লান্টেশন। চোখের কলম ইত্যাদির মতো বিজ্ঞানে নাটকীয় অবদানআমরা পেনিসিলিন, এক্স-রে, ইসিজি, বায়োপসি, আল্ট্রা-সোনোগ্রাফির কয়েকটি নাম উল্লেখ করতে পারি। রোগের বিরুদ্ধে বিজ্ঞানের যুদ্ধের অস্ত্র হিসেবে রেডিওথেরাপি ইত্যাদি।
আসলে, বিজ্ঞানের বিস্ময়ের কোন সীমা নেই। বিজ্ঞানের সাহায্য ছাড়া আমরা একদিনও চলতে পারি না।
